    Guess who got a job at the Lima Bean…

    tiny-tina-teddy:

    I’m holding you to that, seeing as I’ll be there everyday after school except for glee practice days. Haha, yes, I can imagine you would.

    Good thing I have swim practice on your Glee days. I won’t be there either so I won’t have to deal with other servers.

    tiny-tina-teddy:

    Well, I sure hope so. I do need my partner in crime to keep me entertained! Ohh not all at once though, right? You’ll go hyper and bounce off the walls for sure!

    Hahaha! And so do I! I’ll probably hang there after school and stuff to do my homework or whatever. Oh yeah, no, not at once. I might get a tummy ache, too, from all of that

    Out for a run || T-Dev →

    tiny-tina-teddy:

    Tina loved competition; that was an understatement, she absolutely thrived on it. What was life without a little competition? So she was absolutely ecstatic when he accepted. She liked Dev, he was good company to have around and she could see them becoming pretty good friends, despite hardly knowing each other for that long. She especially liked how he could be himself around her; that much she could tell. She wondered if there were certain people that he felt he couldn’t do that with. Either way, she was happy that she had made a new friend. After all, you can never have too many friends. Well.. as long as they treat you right, anyway.

    “Yeah, here is the perfect place to start,” she nodded in agreement with a smile on her face. “On the count of three.”

    Her smile turned into a grin as they both began to countdown and she broke into a fit of laughter as they both sprinted off on the count of two. They had both had the same idea.

    She held her head up high as she ran, making sure she had the perfect posture. If anyone had been watching them, she knew it would have been as if they were watching a tennis match. One minute she’d be in the lead, then it would be Dev, and then it would be her again for a little bit and then it would be him again.

    It was one of the most exciting runs she had ever been on and she was glad that she asked Dev to join her.

    The school came into view and they were both side by side, and Tina turned her head to grin at him, “Oh no. No way. This cannot end as a tie. Change of plans. When we get to the school we have to do a lap of the football oval!”

    He shook his head, still chuckling at her. When they began the countdown and started sprinting on two, he couldn’t help but laugh himself. This was turning out to be a good run. A fun one. Devin thought it was going to be a boring one where they just ran around the park and watched the other occupants just sit around on benches or swing on swings as they jogged by, occasionally passing by another runner. No, it had been a fun one.

    He couldn’t believe how fast Tina was, but he knew he couldn’t get beaten by a girl. He’d settle for a tie but not losing to a girl. “No way,” he thought as he shook his head.

    As the school came into focus he gave it his all, but unfortunately for him, so did she resulting in a tie. Just as they got closer to the front of the building, he cocked his eyebrow at Tina’s change of plans. Then he shrugged and said, “Why not?” as he sprint ahead of her.

    He ran around the building to get to the football field but no matter how fast and how hard he went, Tina was always there either right behind him or beside him. Only a few yards left to go and if he just ran even harder, he knew he’d be able to beat her. So he gave it his all, almost tasting the sweet taste of victory when he suddenly tripped. His shoelaces had come undone and instead of victory, his mouth was filled with the sweet taste of freshly cut grass.

    He groaned in pain and spit out several times before turning over on his back. “No! Go on! Go on, Tina. Leave me here to dieeeeee,” he said a little too dramatically and then began laughing hysterically over it all.
